These terms govern your use of Trivet, made by Handler Labs LLC. By using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. Apple's standard licensed application terms also apply to your use of the app.
Using Trivet
Trivet is for your personal, non-commercial use in keeping and cooking your own recipes. You may import recipes for your private use. Trivet helps you parse and store content you provide or link to; it does not grant you rights to anyone else's content. Please respect the copyright of recipe authors and do not use Trivet to republish others' work.
Your content
Your recipes and other content are yours. They are stored on your device. We claim no ownership over them and we cannot access them.
Purchases
Trivet's core features are free. Premium features are available as an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly) or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Purchases are billed through your Apple account under Apple's terms, and the price shown at the moment of purchase — in your local currency — is the price that applies. A subscription automatically renews at that price for the same period (each month or each year) unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. If a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid, auto-renewing subscription at the then-current price unless you cancel before the trial ends. You can view, manage, or cancel a subscription at any time in your device's subscription settings; Apple handles cancellation and any refunds.
The import service
The import service fetches public web pages you choose to import. It is provided as is, and reliability depends on the source site. Some pages cannot be imported automatically, and you can always add a recipe by hand.
Disclaimers
Trivet is provided as is, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. Cooking involves judgment: times, temperatures, and quantities should be checked against your own experience and equipment. We are not responsible for the accuracy of imported recipes or for the outcome of any dish.
Recipes you import, paste, or scan are created by you or by third parties, and Handler Labs does not review, verify, or endorse them. You are solely responsible for confirming that a recipe is suitable for you and anyone you cook for — including checking for allergens and dietary restrictions and following safe food-handling and cooking practices, such as cooking to safe temperatures. Serving-size scaling and unit conversions are approximate and should be checked before you rely on them.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Handler Labs LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer law of your country that cannot be waived.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State in which Handler Labs LLC is organized and the federal laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Nothing in this section removes the protections of the mandatory consumer law of the country or state where you live, which continue to apply.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
